Edith Setzer Shipley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2022, at the age of 97, Edith Setzer Shipley of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Marshall W. Setzer; and her husband Robert F. Shipley. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Greene (Sybil) of Lenoir and Stephen Greene (Pat) of Boone; her sisters, Mae Laws of Lenoir, Evelyn Kirby of Lenoir and Linda Holman (Robbie) of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Christopher Greene (Talia), Jonathan Greene (Michele), Jonathan Alexander Greene, Richard Brian Greene and Kristin Utley (Garth). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
