He was predeceased by: his stepfather Ivey Gene Cannon, Sr.; and his grandson Joshua Andrew Joplin. He is survived by: his wife Debbie C. Laws; his children, Lori A. Joplin, Summer M. Pack, Earl Wilson Laws, Jr. and Tony A. Sanders; his siblings, Jim Laws (Lawrence Duke Laws), Ivey Cannon, II, Pearlie Williams and Patty Vines; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Katie (Benjamin Joplin), Cloey Deal, Asher Pack, Tristin (Keilla Sanders) and Trena (Rhea Marade).

Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.
