She was predeceased by: her parents, Argie Philyaw and Louise Crump; her husband Dan Walkus; her brother Bill Philyaw; and her stepbrothers, Argie "Snook" Philyaw Jr., O. J. Philyaw and Richard Philyaw.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Laird (Alan) of Tomball, TX, Frank Draszkiewicz (Jeorgette) of Medford, WI and Cindy Walkus of Roberts, WI; and her siblings, Mary Sands and Ken Philyaw of Lenoir, NC..
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
