It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Lee Hayworth of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ray and Annie Crump Whisenant; and her siblings, Bill Whisenant, Arch Whisenant, Bud Whisenant, Johnny Whisenant and Bonnie Sharpe.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Pawlicki and Susan Fleetwood (Paul); her siblings, Leroy Whisenant and Coleen Whisenant; her grandchildren, Jennifer Stuckey (Jake) and Jonathan Fleetwood; her great grandchildren, Noah and Emily Stuckey; her cousins, Lois Austin, Nancy Walker, Susie Price and Bertha Whisenant; and her brother Roy Whisenant. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 a memorial service to celebrate the life of Dot will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, North Carolina 28645.
