He is survived by: his wife Sharon Norwood Sanders; his children, Cody Sanders (Kristina Hatton) of Lenoir, Casey Sanders (Jessica Whitbeck) of Taylorsville, Josh Norwood (Hannah) of Wilkesboro, Dillon Norwood (Emilee Prevette) of Raleigh and Brandi Harris of Morganton; his siblings, Jerry Sanders (Anne) of Hudson, Gene Sanders of Lenoir, Kenny Sanders (Iris) of Morganton, Wayne Sanders (Sharon) of Lenoir, Doug Sanders (Joan) of Lenoir and Juanita Bryant (Dexter) of Hudson; and his grandchildren, Cooper Sanders, Addie Norwood and Ledger Norwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
