He is survived by: his father Dennis "Demp" O'Neil Patterson of Lenoir; his wife Paula Marie Greer Chester; his brother Dennis Malcolm Chester of Hickory; his nephew Daeron Chester of Hickory; his grandmother Elizabeth "Lib" Patterson of Lenoir; his aunts and uncles, Ann Chester of Hickory, Lisa, Lana Norwood of Lenoir, Pam Corpening, Alison Benjamin (Jimmy) of Lenoir, Lynn Dula (Harlen) of Charlotte, Kyle Patterson (Jewel) of Lenoir, Tracy Shell (Patricia) of Virginia, James Shell (Resha) of Lenoir and Craig Shell (Susan) of Lenoir; his cousins, Scott Helton of Hickory, Ashley Corpening of Lenoir, Anna Corpening (Patrick) of Lenoir, Summer Fowler of Lenoir, Casey Hudson of Lenoir, Tyran Moore and Keaun Patterson; his mother-in-law Melinda Greer of Johnson City, TN; his siblings-in-law, Kayla Greer of Johnson City, TN and Jose Herrera of Johnson City, TN; and also, Lakenya and Curtis Jones of Lenoir.
