He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Patterson Walker; his daughter Jamie Hamby (Joe) of Lenoir; his grandsons, Jared Walker, Austin Annas, Andrew and Noah Watson; his sisters, Cindy Nabar (Rein) of Lexington, KY and Loretta Ross of Mooresville; and his niece Rebecca Ross.
Memorials may be made to the Hiddenite Baptist Church.
