It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Mae Shatley of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elisha White; her children, Douglas Shatley, Joseph Shatley and Sherry Shatley; and her siblings, George White, Clifford White, James White, Ernest White, Bobby White, Oscar White, Roger White and Gertrude Church.
She is survived by: her children, Don Shatley (Lori) of Tennessee, Debbie Huskey (Melvin) of Lenoir and Lori Spears (Gary) of Lenoir; her sisters, Ella Hamby of Lenoir and Georgia Shatley (Wayne) of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Scottie Shatley, Stonie Shatley, Billy Shatley, Shaun Huskey, Don Shatley Jr. of Tommy Shatley, J. R, Jessica Amaker, Kimberly Martinichio, Josh Shatley, Joyann Huffman and Jessie Branch.
