She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Mooney and Margaret Mastin Mooney; and her husband Gary Roger Whisnant. She is survived by: her children, Roger Dale Whisnant (Paula) of Lenoir and Tracie Greene (Derrick) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Garrett Greene, Madison Greene, Hadyn Whisnant and Savanah Whisnant; her great grandchild Rhett Asher Greene; and her sisters, Irene Punch (Ray) of Hickory, Ann Smith (Jeff) of Lenoir and Kaye Seagle of Hickory.
