He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Herman; and his siblings, Betty Lou Sigler, Valeria Anderson and Alden Herman. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Propst; his children, Angie (Kerry Hartley), Jeff (Cricket Herman) and Ashley (Mike Reams); and his great grandchildren, Kris, Julie, Korey, Kourtney, Brian, Sienna, Tilden, Leighton, Knox, Noah, Salem and Carson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's memory to his home church, St. Stephens Lutheran in Lenoir or Amorem/Hospice.
