He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marion Johnson, William Jackson, Marty Jackson and Mark Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jackson; his children, Lawton Jackson, Lyra Prickett (Derek) and Leslie Johnson (Bryan); his grandsons, Ashton Zeller (Barbara), Reid Zeller (Ashley), Patrick Zeller (Ashton), Brendon Zeller, Bailey Zeller (Shelby), Ethan Johnson and Graham Johnson; his great grandchildren, Lyra Zeller, Adelaide Zeller, Thomas Zeller and Blue Zeller; his brother Robert Jackson (Marjorie); and his half-brother Fred Mina (Elizabeth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lenoir Presbyterian Church or Samaritan's Purse.
