He is survived by: his wife Ruby Avery Day; his sons, Rev. David Allen Day (Tracie Lynn) of Lenoir and Mark Steven Day of Lenoir; his sisters, Mary Ellen Anderson (Jack) of Lenoir and Geneva McCloud of Lenoir; and his grandchildren, Blake Austin Day, Makenzi Lynn Day and Steven Alexander Day.
