He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Joe Bright; and his sister Cindy Bright. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Goble Bright; his children, Shannon Bright (Anna) and Nicole Hathcock (Brian); his stepsons, Jonathan Coffey (Amy) and Jesse Coffey; and his brother Rick Bright (Nancy). He is also survived by grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1939 Paul Shuping Avenue, Morganton, NC 28655.
