It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Dean Poarch of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Walter Emmett Poarch; his wife Patricia Henson Poarch; and his brother Allen Walter Poarch. He is survived by: his sisters, Theresa A. Poarch Jimenez (Jose) of Lenoir and Laura B. Land of Lenoir; his nephews, Christopher R. Andrews and Jamie R. Spears, Jr.; his niece Taylor L. Fortenberry (Cody); and his great-nephews, Cameron Lee Fortenberry and Dakota Lane Fortenberry. He is also survived by aunts. uncles, cousins, and friends.
