He is survived by: his wife Hazel Prestwood; his children, Gary Prestwood (Leslea), Bobby Prestwood (Leigh Ann) and Tammy Gaston (John); and his brothers, Tommy Prestwood (Brenda) and Sammy Prestwood (Mary Louise).
