He is survived by: his wife Ava Griffin Smith; his daughters, Kim Cardwell (Jeff) and Candis Hagaman; his grandchildren, Addie Faber (Chris), Chaz Hagaman and Chya Hagaman; and his siblings, Danny Smith (Sandy), Audrey Smith, Penny Smith, Sabra Haigler (Dale) and Sandra Miller.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Catawba Baptist Church (1596 N Catawba Church Ave, Lenoir, NC 28645). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the North Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery (1596 N Catawba Church Ave, Lenoir, NC 28645).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to North Catawba Baptist Church.
