She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Coates and Juliette Coates (Dugas) of North Providence; her husband Walter Anthony "Tony" Young Sr. of Milton; and her former husband Ronald Wiggins Sr. of Belmont. She is survived by: her children, Julie Y. Hagan (Brooks) of Rhode Island, Walter A. "Tony" Young, Jr., Timothy E. Young (Amanda) of Pennsylvania and Michael P. Young (Annie) of Maryland; her stepchildren, Ronald Wiggins Jr. and Tonya Wiggins of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, Asa, William and Ariel; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Maggie; and her brother David E. Coates (Sheila) of Rhode Island.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Yokefellow of Caldwell County Food Pantry or to The Brews and Mews Cafe cat rescue program, both in Lenoir, North Carolina.
