It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colene Reba Silver of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Lloyd Church and Lou Golds Church; her husband Franklin D. Silver; and her siblings, Ed Church, Vance Church, Rufus Church, Clyde Church, Howard Church, Faye Whisnant and Annie Mae Burch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Diane Ferguson (Ted) and Betty J. Townsend; and her pet Phoebe. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
