He is survived by: his children, Taniesha Bowers of Granite Falls, Briana Bowers of South Carolina, Kimberly Green of Hickory and Horace Coltraine of Asheville; his stepson Davion Peterson of Lenoir; his siblings, Quincy Bowers of Florida, Mamie Jo Bowers of Lenoir, Lucinda Bowers of Boone and Doretha Whittington of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Barry Daniels III and Zion Coltraine; and his great grandchild Ryleigh Daniels.
