He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Vines and Mamie Greene Vines; his wife Flora Eldreth Vines; his siblings, Lynn Vines, Dale Vines and Juanita Vines Swift; and his great grandchild Chloe Leigh Lackey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dean Vines (Twila), Wilma Vines Cook and Rebecca Vines Tester (Dewey Tester); and his children, Denver Lee Vines (Vickie Suddreth Vines), Regina Vines Holman (Billy Holman) and Mary Vines Hamby. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
