She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Dixon and Winifred "Winnie" Bowers Dixon; her brothers, Mike Dixon, Johnny Dixon and James Dixon, Jr.; her niece Tammy Walton; and her great-niece Tammy Walton.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony D. Dixon, Sr. (Sonya) of Lenoir and Timothy E. Parsons (Tammy) of Lenoir; her siblings, Calvin V. Dixon (Betty) of Fort Worth, TX, Fred K. Dixon (Vickie) of Fort Worth, TX and Geraldine Dixon (Sam) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Anthony Dixon, Jr., Brittany Dixon, Dalvin Parsons, Kiah Parsons, Jakarie Parsons, Lytavia Parsons and Amara Grier; and her great grandchildren, Arianna Parsons, Malaysia Parsons, Xyla Grier, Adian Grier and Roman Grier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park conducted by Rev. James Wilfong.
