He is survived by: his wife Maida "Betsy" Pearson; his children, Claude Lawrence Pearson Jr., Tasha Basile (Kellen) and Emily Staton (Will); his siblings, Jerry Bowman, Joyce Edwards (Barry) and Sabrina Pearson; his grandchild Staton; his nephew Ethan Sluder; and his nieces, Beth Dunn (Caleb) and Candice Sluder.
