It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence Dean Skeels of Lenoir, North Carolina, born in Palmyra, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Skeels; his former wife Nancy Skeels; and his son Steven Skeels. He is survived by: his wife Sue Skeels; his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Hargett, Ronald "Ron" Skeels (Jane), Darrell Skeels (Tane) and Sean Hanyon; and his grandchildren, Danielle Mower, Ashley Presnell, Brittany Scott, Mark Hargett, Andrea Skeels, Jana Skeels, Adam Skeels, Courtney Herrington, Timothy Skeels, Tyler Skeels, Alyssa Skeels and Landon Skeels. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
