He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C. Wilson and Gertrude H. Wilson; his wife Kay C. Wilson; and his brothers, Roger Wilson and Dan Wilson.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Wilson (Courtney).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
