He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Don Watson and Pollie Bolick Watson; his brother Denver L. Watson; and his grandson Jordan Isaac Watson. He is survived by: his wife Ida Greene Watson; his children, Charles "Chuck" W. Watson, Jr. (Karen) of Hudson and Karen W. Bolick (Tony) of Lenoir; his sister Louise W. Cheek (A. M.) of Fleetwood, NC; his sisters-in-law, Sybil R. Watson of Hickory and Elsie P. Greene of Lenoir; and his grandchildren, Austin T. Bolick, Seth A. Bolick, Heather M. Watson and Brittany L. Watson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
