He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester E. Dula and Maggie Dixon Dula; and his sisters, Elizabeth Dula Barnes, Amelia Dula Eskridge, Karen Diane Dula and Peggy Laverne Dula.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Patterson of Lenoir, Marissa Patterson of Lenoir, Ralph Patterson of Lenoir, Timothy Patterson of Baltimore, MD, Patrick Patterson of Lenoir and Greg Patterson of Lenoir; his sister Katie Lavon Dula of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Marquel Patterson, Destiny Patterson and Andrea Patterson; and his great grandchild Octavius Patterson. He is also survived by several other great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Granite Funeral Service (106 S Main St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
