He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Hall and Georgia Honeycutt; his son Charles Robert Hall Jr.; his grandson Stephen Joseph Effler; and his siblings, McKinley Hall, James Hall, Billy Hall of Lenoir, Robert Hall of Indiana, Roy Hall, Lonnie Hall of Virginia, Marie Holloway of Ohio, Ethel White of Lenoir and Edna Hall of Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jewel Hall; his daughters, Glenda Hollar (Dennis) of Hudson, Connie Lee Woody (Wendell Leon) of Lenoir, Mary Ann Laws (Jason) of Boomer and Rebecca Jean Effler (Butch) of Lenoir; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Hollar (Betsy), Kristi Clement (Kevin), Darrell Laws (Jamie), Michael Hollar (Ashli), Lana Glasco (Andrew), Christopher Laws (Sonya), Wendell Woody (Brooklyn), Ashlyn Miller, Braxton Laws (Monica), Matthew Effler, Heather Wolfe (Derrick), Devin Laws, Ethan Laws and Andrew Effler.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood St. Lenoir NC 28645.
