She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Gurley and Alice Burgin Gurley; and her siblings, Tony Gurley, Lana Braswell and Clara Annas.
She is survived by: her sons, Daron Beane (Stefani) of Statesville and Dustin Beane (Amanda) of Boone; her siblings, Tim Gurley of Lenoir, Libby Ross (Bobby) of Morganton, Irene Melton (Bill), Anita Helton (Tommy) of Lenoir and Christine Hice of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Jacsyn, Alice and Rhea Beane. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.
