It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Maurice Montelongo (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Day Walls and Charles Bartlett Walls; her husband Gabriel Montelongo Sr.; and her daughters, Vickie Timmer and Angela Montelongo.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles Whitley, Robert Whitley (Joyce), Frank Montelongo and Joseph Montelongo; her son-in-law James Timmer (JT); her daughters, Patti Boudreau (Michael) and Jerri Lee Montelongo; and her sister Linda Barret.
