He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thomas Coffey; and his siblings, Donald Coffey (Willa) of Lenoir, David Coffey (Jo Ann) of Taylorsville, Michael Coffey (Angie) of Hudson and Linda Coffey of Lenoir. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
