Brenda Ann Lakey Obituary

Brenda Ann Lawson Lakey 79 of Lenoir passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Amorem Hudson.

Born January 10, 1943 in Richlands, VA she was the daughter of the late Arthur Robert Lawson and Florence Griffith Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Max Ellis Lakey; her sisters, Carleen White and Barbara Alford; her brothers James Wolfe and Harlis Lawson and a number of additional brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Tracey Dean Lakey and James Arthur Lakey both of Lenoir NC; one daughter, Princess "Penny" Lakey of Lenoir NC; four grandchildren, Sandy Marie Price, William Clyde Ward, Myranda Claire Clark, and Gloria Elizabeth Clark; four grandchildren: Sandy Marie Price, William Clyde Ward, Myranda Claire Clark, and Gloria Elizabeth Lossiah; six great grandchildren: Christopher Parsons, Devin Parsons, Zoe Webb, Xavier Webb, Sawyer Menke, River Jones and one on the way; her sister Frances Drum of Newton NC.
