We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2020, at the age of 82, Boyd Bruce Staton of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Staton and Goldie Mae Lambert Staton; and his siblings, Juanita Phillips (Warren) and Rev. Ralph Staton. He is survived by: his wife Louise Laws Staton; his children, Darren Bruce Staton (Julie) of Lenoir and Lisa S Triplett (Ken) of Granite Falls; his grandsons, Aaron and Alex Triplett of Granite Falls; his great grandchild Sofie; and his siblings, Claire S. Lawrence (George) and Libby S. McCall (Troy).

Due to COVID-19 no funeral services are planned at this time.

The family requests no flowers but donations in Bruce's memory to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645, or Hudson First Baptist Church, 345 Main Street, Hudson, NC 28638.
