It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Sue Edmisten of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 87, on November 14, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Braswell and Ruby Braswell; her husband Fred M. Edmisten; her daughter Freida E. Jones; and her son-in-law Ralph Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Paula E. McLeod of Lenoir, Fred Keith Edmisten of Hudson and Glenn M. Edmisten of Easley; and her grandchildren, Casey J. Boyatt (Jamie) of Conover, David Hinson of Marion, Chris McLeod (Sandra) of Lenoir, Josh Osborne (Taylor) of Lenoir and Erin Edmisten of Fayetteville, Arkansas.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private graveside service will be held with Rev. James Todd officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street NW Lenoir or Mulberry Baptist Church, 4831 Kirby Mountain Road.
