It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Kiziah of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Austin McGhinnis and Hazel Nelson Houck; and her children, Lynn Teasley and Todd Teasley. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Huff (Terry) of Hickory, Loyde Teasley, Jr. (Buzzy) of Bloomington, IN, Kellie Bynum of Newton, Kimmie Rogers (Scott) of Lenoir and Khristy Steele of Lexington. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Due to Covid, masks are encouraged to be worn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amorem, formerly known as Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Betty's name.
