He was predeceased by: his father Loland "Bud" Elbert Smith; and his brother Danny Smith. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Adrian Smith (Brian Shook) and Dustin Smith (Alicia); his grandchildren, Dustin, David Shook, Kayla, Hunter, Alexa Townsend and Deegan Smith; his goddaughter Lauren Huffman; his pets, Ophelia and Sophie; and his siblings, Cathy Morin, Loland "Sam" Smith, Jr. and Jason Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
