She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Oakes and Juanita Braswell Oakes; her son Doyle Allen Bradley, Jr.; and her brother Daniel Oakes. She is survived by: her husband Doyle Allen Bradley; her children, Jerry Ryan Koning (Shana) of Raleigh, Rachel Dawn Buchanan (Voin) of Granite Falls and Miranda Louise Taylor (Joshua) of Lenoir; her siblings, Donald Ray Oakes, Jr. (Sandra) of Granite Falls, Darren Arlen Oakes of Michigan, Debbie Mae Oakes and Diane Juanita Oakes of Michigan; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dawn Buchanan, Blake Allen Taylor, Macie Brooke Taylor and Logan Bryce Koning.
