He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Blaine Moretz and Marie Lookabill Moretz; his wife Esther Geraldine Moretz; his sister Carolyn Moretz Farrell; his daughter Anna Crooke (Arex Crooke) of Lenoir; his grandson Aidan Crooke of Lenoir; and his siblings, Wanda Moretz Moore of Graham, Martha Ann Moretz of Boone and Leon Moretz of Gastonia.
