He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Allie, Hazel Wood and Jackie Adkins. He is survived by: his parents, Hurl Moyer Stevens and Linda Fay Wood Stevens; his children, Rylan, Madeline, Myra and Lilly Mae; his siblings, Mitchell Stevens (Roberta) of Taylorsville, Sandra Hodge of Hickory, Michelle Wood of Hudson, Charity Dillard (Joey) of Lenoir and Jamie Lee Stevens of Granite Falls; and his grandsons, Wyatt and Archer.

Due to COVID-19 a memorial service to celebrate the life of Ashley will be held at a later date.
