She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert Greer and Lina Pearl Minton Greer; her husband Ned Ernest Hedrick; her children, Ned Levon Hedrick and Melinda Hedrick Carlton; her brothers, James William Greer and John Carrol Greer; and her grandson Lenford D. Cable.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Cable of Lenoir; her daughter-in-law Frances Hedrick of Lenoir; her siblings, James Albert Greer, Jr. of Lenoir, David Gray Greer (Pat) of Lenoir, Alice Greer Watson of Lenoir and Dannie Greer Kidd of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Tracy Johnson (Stacy), Veronica Gray (Teddy), Monte Cable (Jessica), Raven Woodward (Gene) and Chris Teague (Angel); and her granddaughter-in-law Becky Cable. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC 28645). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Living Hope Church (1890 Connelly Springs Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Living Hope Church, 1890 Connelly Springs Road, Lenoir, NC 28645; or Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
