She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Dula and Amelia Ann Triplett Dula; her husband Gerry Hawkins; and her sisters, Irene Dula and Christine Triplett.
She is survived by: her sons, Bryan Hawkins (Betty) of Hickory and Marty Hawkins (Sarah) of Hickory; her grandson Matthew Hawkins of Hickory; and her brother Harley "Bud" Dula, Jr. (Brenda) of Lenoir. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
