He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Triplett and Suzanne Walsh Triplett; his siblings, J. C. Triplett, Ralph "Junior" Triplett and Maude Young; and his half-sister Becky Bentley.
He is survived by: his children, Byron Triplett (Pam), Bobby Triplett (Teresa) and Lenita Pope (Tim); his grandchildren, Jason Triplett (Nicole), Todd Triplett (Wendy), Jennifer Taylor (Jody), Amy Triplett, Jeff Younce, Nichole Watters (Chris), Ethan Pope (Emily) and Austin Pope (Christina Borzichella); and his half-siblings, Gary Triplett, Jonie Triplett and Lynn Martin. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
