He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred William Blevins Sr. and Hazel Mildred Blevins; and his sister Barbara Anne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Frances Herold Blevins; his daughters, Karen B. Stein (Timothy) of Connelly Springs and Sandra Parlier of Lenoir; his stepdaughter Wendy Thomas (Kevin) of Lenoir; his brother Thomas Blevins (Georgia) of Lenoir; his brother-in-law Robert "Butch" Smith of Granite Falls; and his granddaughter Taylor Parlier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
