He was predeceased by: his wife Shirlene Skipper Scoggins. He is survived by: his parents, Alec Scoggins and Gretta Mintz Scoggins; his children, Richard Wayne (Rebecca Scoggins) of Leland, Sherry Scoggins of Leland and Vickie (Charles Mintz) of Winnabow; his grandchildren, Tabitha (Omar Campos) of Leland, Charles Jared (Kyndall) of Leland and Daniel Jacobs Mintz of Leland; and his great grandchildren, Miranda Campos and Bryan Campos.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to St.Jude.
