He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Columbus Rabon and Cora Flowers Rabon; his wife Earlyne King Rabon; his son Dale Rabon; his daughter-in-law Sherry Rabon; his grandchildren, Johnathan Rabon and Brittany Armstrong (Bryan); his great grandchild Carter Creech Rabon; his sisters, Elizabeth Mercer, Tonda Henry, Cheryl Mintz and Gayle Sullivan; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Cook, Vina Mae Benton and John Cook (Marc Cook). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
