It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lee (Leland, North Carolina), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lee Overton, Sr. and Emma Reynolds Overton; and her brothers, Raymond Lee Overton, Jr. and Charles Malcolm Overton. She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Lee, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, Nancy Lee Barber (Freddie) of Jacksonville, NC and Janet Lee Medlin of Wilmington. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
