He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gay Sellers, Sr. and Mary Johnson Sellers. He is survived by: his wife Sue Wescott Sellers; his daughter Tanya Sellers Simpson (Ben); his siblings, Carlton Sellers (Pam) and Dorothy Edwards; his grandsons, Tyler Wittkofsky (Gracie) and Justin Wittkofsky (Erin); and his brother-in-law Aaron Wescott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
