He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Rackley Ward and Gertie Mae Watts Ward. He is survived by: his siblings, Melva W. Stanley of Leland, Walter T. Ward of Hampstead and Donald Ray Ward of Atlanta, GA; and his nieces and nephews, Loretta Bell of Elizabethtown, George Hodges, III, Clarendon and Adam Ward.
