It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jeanette Couch in Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Norma Jeanette departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Norma Jeanette. Though Norma Jeanette may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Wayne Couch; and her parents, Paul Googe and Ellen Mikell Googe. She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Jordan (Dave) of Burgaw, Sue Ellen Baute (Jorge) of Elizabethtown and Pam Goodrum of Orlando, Florida.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
