He is survived by: his wife Nina Boswell Harrell; his brother-in-law Doug Boswell; his children, Danny Ray Harrell (Melanie), Deborah Harrell (Tim) of Wilmington, Tina Feeley (Johnny) of Wilmington and Sheila Thomas (Joe); his grandchildren, Ashley Harrell, Danny "Ray" Harrell Jr., Amber Harrell, Logan Harrell, Ashley Carter, Jennifer Coppersmith, Allan Karpinsky III, Courtney Mincey, Nicole Chappell and Joseph Thomas Jr.; and his brother Charles Harrell (Linda). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
