It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cooper Skipper of Leland, North Carolina, born in Brunswick, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Richard "Peg" Skipper and Mamie Mintz Skipper; and his brother Richard Skipper. He is survived by: his wife Kitty Walton Skipper; his children, Kay Clemmons (Fred) of Leland, Johnny R Skipper (Karen) of Leland and Danny Skipper (Tammy) of Leland; his grandchildren, Becky, Bryce, Shelby, Tatum, Zach, Jaymie and Sam; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Austin, Gannen, Salem, Sophia and Collin; and his siblings, Robert Skipper of Walnut, CA and Joyce Midgett of Leland.
